I hope you all have a great year, filled with happiness, health, success, and everything else that makes life well and good.

So another year has passed. And 2008 was a very important one. I think I definitely grew up, if only a little. I think I’m more mature and responsible now than I was a year ago. The past 12 months definitely made me realize I’m not as stupid as I thought I was. Through many events, in particular a certain philosophy class, I’ve become much more confident in my abilities. Though not completely, I can see myself for who I am, and who I can become.
Once again, this is all thanks to my friends, and, believe it or not, my philosophy teacher XD
Man, if only you people knew just how much you make me strive to become more, how much you mean to me. I know I say it often, but it’s true. You all taught me many of life’s lessons, showed me things I’d been blind to and, as a result, my desire to give back to that friendship has only increased.

I have but one wish for 2009
For each and every one of you to see, through my growth, the impact you’ve had on my life.
If I can do that, then all my aspirations for 2009 will be accomplished
And I will move on to new goals, and soar to new heights
But hopefully, I will always keep my same old friends ^^

I love you guys. Simply. Totally. Hopelessly.

Things haven't been easy this past year, but more so most recently. And each time I broke down, my friends were there. I've never had a group of friends like this, and I've never loved my friends like I do now. And I've never wanted to say something so badly.

To these exceptional friends of mine, I owe an apology. From these incredible friends I beg for forgiveness for crossing the line a good few times.

I look up to every single one of you. All of you inspire me, make me want to strive for more, to become more. I wouldn't be the same person I am now if I hadn't walked into that art room, that day, that lunch period. Some day, I won't be looking at your backs anymore.

The future is uncertain. We can't say for sure where we're gonna be, who we're gonna be there with. But there's one thing I am certain of. I won't let you guys just drift away. Not even those who cross the ocean from time to time.
